Located in the city of Marseille, Transcausse is a leader in the organization of international haulage, customs processes, and transit.

Thanks to the BALGUERIE group, who became the majority shareholder after buying out “Agence maritime méditerranéenne” (AMM), TRANSCAUSSE has witnessed constant expansion.

1979: TRANSCAUSSE ORIGINS.
Causse & Cie and AMM merged to found TRANSCAUSSE
1982: CORSEFRET.
TRANSCAUSSE acquired the Corsican business of Causse & Cie and set up its CORSEFRET agency.
1999 : CORSEFRET Sud.
Following the Group’s experience in Bastia with CORSEFRET, a subsidiary was created in the south of Corsica to enable closer ties with its customers.

By strengthening its activities and local presence in Corsica, TRANSCAUSSE made considerably inroads into intercontinental maritime transit with its product-related (Food, Pharmaceuticals, Removals, etc.) and country-related (Indian Ocean, North Africa, Far East, Oceania, Sub-Saharan Africa, Near and Middle East, etc.) strategies.
