Deltai Customs System: The Transition Explained by Transcausse
Since October 21, 2025, the Deltai customs system has replaced Delt@ G for all import declarations.
This major change, initiated by European regulations, modernizes customs clearance processes and strengthens the traceability of operations.
A Transition Under Pressure
The rollout of Deltai took place within a very short timeframe, mobilizing all stakeholders:
Registered Customs Representatives (RDE), EDI software providers, customs authorities, and international trade operators.
Despite the collective commitment, this rapid switch has led to slowdowns and an increased workload for declarants, until the system reaches full stability.
Transcausse’s Commitment
At Transcausse, our teams are fully mobilized to support this transition and ensure the continuity of customs clearance operations.
We maintain close communication with the French customs authorities to anticipate and resolve any issues encountered by our clients.
What Comes After Deltai?
On December 14, 2025, the Delt@ G export system will be phased out and replaced by Delt@ E, which incorporates the new Export Control System (SDS).
This next step is part of the ongoing modernization of the French customs framework.
A Collective Effort
The evolution of the Deltai customs system calls for cooperation and understanding among all logistics chain stakeholders.
Transcausse thanks its clients and partners for their trust and support throughout this transition.
